HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR FITNESS IN SUMMERS ?
With the growing heat in summer, all look for different options to beat the heat na still be in shape. This is considered the best time to have a proper fitness routine. Working out, helps to release the hormone endorphin, that enhances our mood and relieves the stress. Here are few exercises that would help you to keep yourself cool, during these hot summers:
Walking. Early morning walk is quite helpful. It not only would help in reducing calories and building stamina, but also would your mind, and keep you active for the entire day.
Swimming. A great option to beat the heat. It is an entire body activity, and suited for all age groups and is advantageous too, as there are involved least injury risks. Swimming must be done early morning hours or late afternoons.
Yoga. Yoga is not only a physical exercise, but includes mental exercises too. It is helpful to increase the flexibility, concentration and tone the muscles. These help in building strong stamina power.
Body weight squats. These are said to be the king of all exercises, as it works for the largest muscle of the body, that is the contracepts, hamstrings and gluts. The push ups are also handy, and work for the entire upper body and core muscles.
Skipping. One of the simplest exercise, is jumping a rope. It is quite beneficial, as it includes working out the muscles of the legs, shoulders, biceps and forearms, and helps to burn loads of calories.
Pranayama. Is mainly a breathing exercise, and helps to improve breathing techniques, refreshes the body from inside, and indirectly increases the endurance.
Simple stretches. If it is done in a proper manner, then would improve the muscle tone, increase flexibility and reduce the chances of lower back pain.
Plank position. Helpful in making the muscles of the core, shoulder, triceps and the back hard and stiff.
Aerobics/dance classes. There are various options of dance or aerobics. If getting bored, to go to the dance classes, then the best option is to, simply put on the favorite music and get going. This is very much helpful in shedding off few kilos.
